In Norton Sollenburg the genes of the Sollenburg lineage come together from both paternal and maternal side. His sire Electron is a son of Ampère out of Zamba Sollenburg. This mare is an offspring of the Grand Prix stallion Fidermark NRW and a half-sister of the ZZ-Licht horse Fizz Sollenburg (by Zizi Top). The KWPN-approved Electron is now classified in the Small Tour with Fieke Houwen. The dam of Norton Sollenburg is the Charmeur-daughter Joy Sollenburg. The pedigree continues with the top progenitor Vivaldi and then the Small Tour stallion Metall.
