On the dam’s side, Novara B goes directly back to the international jumping mare Cutting Edge (s.Carthago), with which Roelof Bril performed at 1.50m level. Her dam Carice Z combines the valuable genes of the Grand Prix stallions Carrera VDL (Jur Vrieling) and Quaprice Bois Margot (Julien Epaillard), both of whom claimed a strong reputation in breeding. Carice Z is a half-sister of Cornet’s Quaprice (s.Cornet Obolensky), which is approved by various prominent German studbooks. The 1.45m showjumper Zampa Z (s.Zandor Z) ridden by Nicole Pavitt also originates from this direct damline. The international sport and breeding stallion Falaise de Muze represents a first-class damline, has performed at 1.50m level and several offspring are following in his footsteps.
