The very talented Comme Il Faut son Jappeloup presented his first crop of sons at the stallion approvals this year, including this Obiku who represents a good damline. His dam Hasijgje is a half-sister of the international 1.60m showjumper Coral Reef Aajee (s.Lupicor) ridden by Ann Knight Karrasch and the international 1.50m level showjumper Boevee (s.Lupicor) of Kim Emmen. Granddam Usijgje also foaled the 1.40m showjumper De Uno (s.Numero Uno) and from this direct part of the Sijgje line originates the international 1.45m jumping horse Capri (s.L’Esprit) of Anastasia Bondarieva as well. In the second generation, the valuable Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Andiamo adds his performance genes to this pedigree.
