Operette represents the successful lineage of the late René Franssen and was bred out of a half-sister of one of his most successful breeding products, the international Grand Prix dressage horse Vradin (s.Gribaldi) ridden by Simon Missiaen. Her dam Zenette already foaled two Z-level (3^rd) dressage horses and is also a half-sister of the Small Tour horse Skyline (s.Democraat) and the ZZ-Licht (4^th level) horse Rebus (s.Flemmingh). Granddam J.Fradin is in turn a half-sister of the international U25 Grand Prix horse Rifradin (s.Gribaldi) ridden by Monica Houweling, the national Grand Prix horse Ommen (s.Balzflug) ridden by Marie Pettersson as well as the Small Tour horse Hariette (s.Cassis xx). J.Fradin herself is listed as the granddam of the Small Tour horse Kefraya M (s.Tuschinski) and from this direct line also originates the Intermediaite II horse CSI (s.United). The sire is the well-producing Small Tour stallion Ferdinand and this three-year-old mare is in foal to Intro K.
