After earning the ster predicate with scores of 80 for conformation and 85 for movement, Ormante D was invited to the NMK as a three-year-old, where she qualified for the final. She later achieved a total of 78.5 points in her IBOP. Ormante D descends from a strong dressage family and was bred out of a half-sister to the international Grand Prix dressage horse Ferrero D, ridden by Luca Sophia Collin, as well as to the Small Tour horses Cubald and NMK champion Gamante D. In the third generation, this line traces back to the Amor daughter Warmante, who proved highly influential through her famous grandson Jazz and also stands at the foundation of the international Grand Prix horse Hollywood, ridden by Patrick van der Meer. The Olympic stallion Dream Boy has made his mark with offspring that are successful at the highest level, such as Iago, Infinity and Holiday. Ormante D is in foal to Glamourdale.
