This talented Pentagon is a son of the international 1.50/1.60m level competing mare Cantate, who finished in the 1.60m Grand Prix of München-Riem under Paul van Wylick. As a young horse she already showed her qualities in the mare test that she passed with 84.5 points. In combination with Zirocco Blue VDL, Cantate already foaled the international 1.45m level Gracia Cantate and Cantate herself is a half-sister of the international 1.35/1.40m level jumping horses Goliath (s.Zirocco Blue VDL) and Fameuze (s.Namelus R). Pentagon has a full sister in the six-year-old, international 1.30m level competing Lieselot. He is sired by the Grand Prix stallion Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, who has distinguished himself as a top progenitor thanks to excellent offspring such as Darry Lou, Tobago Z and Citizenguard Taalex. Also damsire Cantos made great progress in breeding as he produced a number of Grand Prix showjumpers.
