Sire Pegase van ’t Ruytershof seems to be living up to his excellent pedigree with international 1.55m-level performances and exceptionally strong breeding results. Pleasure van de Moervelden Z is a half-brother to the nine-year-old BWP-approved stallion Eyeball vd Moervelde Z (s.El Barone 111 Z), who competes at international 1.35/1.40m-level. Dam Die’Hard 111 Z is a half-sister to the internationally placed 1.50/1.55m-level horses Karamel de Mauretus Z (s.Kannan) of Jack Whitaker, and Bolero 111 (s.Chatman) ridden by Darragh Kenny. Granddam Walentina van ’t Merelsnest also produced the 1.40m-level performers Chapeau de Mauretus Z and La Luna de Mauretus. This Belgian performance family is well known thanks to standouts such as Olympic team medalist Sapphire, ridden by McLain Ward, and Jur Vrieling’s WEG and European Championship stallion Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest.
