With 80 points for free jumping, Rachel Sijgje demonstrated her talents at the mare inspection this summer. Her pedigree combines the international 1.45m level stallion Inaico VDL, known as the full brother of top class performer Hello M’Lady, with the proven Sijgje family. Both her dam and granddam produced offspring competing at 1.30m level, and granddam Vincy Sijgje is a half-sister to the international 1.45/1.50m level showjumpers Joyride (s.Verdi) ridden by Anna Kellnerová and Gaucho (s.Spartacus) ridden by Coco Fath, as well as the 1.40m level competitor Bibi-Sijgje (s.Verdi) ridden by Catherine Pasmore. With offspring such as McAllister VDL, Matricia, Rivera AEG and Mini Cooper HC, sire Inaico VDL is making a mark in breeding, and in the second generation, Rachel Sijgje carries the genes of the well-bred Utrillo van de Heffinck son Arizona.
