Last autumn, sire Vaderland made a promising Small Tour debut under Dinja van Liere, following notable performances in young horse competitions. As a breeding stallion, this Vitalis son has also made a strong start and is presenting the talented son Raf KL from his second crop. Dam Kolinda KL passed the IBOP with three times an 8, and granddam Eva is a half-sister to the ZZ-Zwaar (fifth) level dressage horse Camel (s.Uphill). In the third generation, this line traces back to a half-sister of the Small Tour horse Vanity (s.Krack C), and from this direct family originate Small Tour horses like Amaretto (s.Flemmingh) and Goliath (s.Johnson) as well. In the second generation, Raf KL carries the genes of the Small Tour stallion Ferdeaux, who has now been exported to Canada, and has already produced a series of remarkable offspring such as Las Vegas, Jerveaux, Jim and Lacrosse RS2.
