After notable performances under Emmelie Scholtens and Hans Peter Minderhoud, the eight-year-old top talent Las Vegas has now formed a partnership with Diederik van Silfhout. They made an excellent debut in the Small Tour last December. From his first crop comes the promising Rein ter Kwincke, whose dam and granddam have performed at Z2 (third-fourth) dressage level. Granddam Ushi ter Kwincke is a half-sister to the ZZ-Zwaar (fifth) level dressage horse Dartagnan (s.G.Ramiro Z), and this direct family has produced, in addition to the international Grand Prix dressage horse Joery (s.Ferro) ridden by Thibault Cambourieu, Small Tour horses such as Floret VZ (s.Vivaldi) and Falco (s.Jazz), as well as several ZZ-Licht (fourth) level competing horses. In the second generation, we find the strikingly prolific stallion Ferguson, who made great progress with offspring like Lightning Star RR, Kyton, My Precious and Lord Platinum.
