From the second crop of champion stallion Le Formidable comes the promising Rensch Texel. His dam, Ellegantrasse Texel, achieved a top-ten placement in the finals of the National Mare Championship as a three-year-old and has foaled several Z1/Z2 (third) level dressage horses. Granddam N’Alcatrasse is also listed as the granddam of Marjan Hooge’s international U25 Grand Prix dressage horse Ego Tripper Texel (s.Jazz) and Skylar Bos’s Small Tour horse Karantetrasse Texel (s.Governor). Through two well-breeding elite mares, this allround damline traces back to the established Holstein lineage 242. Sire Le Formidable already made a strong impression last year with his first sons at the stallion approvals, from which his son Pitch Perfect was approved by the KWPN. Le Formidable represents a first-class dressage family, and is in Rensch Texel’s pedigree combined with a daughter of the influential stallion Jazz.
