Risky Business is from the second crop of the talented Governor son, Koning. Two years ago, Koning was sold to France, where he is being trained for higher-level work by Olympic rider Stéphanie Brieussel. Dam Iris passed her the IBOP test with a total of 80 points and has already foaled an elite mare that scored 81 points in the IBOP. Risky Business has the same granddam as the ZZ-Zwaar (fifth) level dressage horse Indigo (s.Apache), and his granddam Starlight is a half-sister to the Small Tour horse Zithalia (s.Flemmingh). This allround damline also produced the international U25 Grand Prix horse Zappa (s.Tango), Small Tour horses like Authentic (s.Prestige VDL) and Dashing (s.Hotline), as well as the Grand Prix horse producer Sandreo (s.Sandro Hit). In the second generation, the Grand Prix stallion Desperado adds his performance genes. At the highest level, Desperado is already represented by offspring such as Icecream and Dettori.
