Both dam Latium and granddam Harimann have performed at Z2 (third-fourth) level, and the latter is a full sister of the KWPN approved stallion Grappa (s.Fidertanz), with whom Jean-René Luijmes competed in the Small Tour. Additionally, Harimann is a half-sister to the Small Tour horse Kazoo (s.Charmeur), and in the third generation, this damline traces back to the Intermediate II level performing mare Tanirma. As a six-year-old, this De Niro mare already promoted this damline by winning silver at the World Championships for young dressage horses. Ruffino’s is sired by the Oldenburg reserve champion and Danish premium stallion So Perfect. He has made a strong impression in young horse competitions and made a flying start with his foals at inspections and in auctions. Ruffino is from his first crop, and his dam Latium carries the genes of the talented Totilas son Trafalgar, who was sold to Canada last year.
