Under Sabine Schut-Kery, sire Sanceo made history by winning team silver and placing fifth individually at the Tokyo Olympic Games. To date he has been used only on a very limited scale for breeding, and the interesting Tadic VDT comes from his first crop. On the dam’s side, he is a half-brother to the international Small Tour horse Accountancy Leonardo VDT (s.Glock’s Zonik), competed by Christianne Goes. In combination with Franklin, dam Grace Kelly VDT also produced the very well-tested elite mare Kelly VDT (IBOP 86.5). Grace Kelly VDT is a half-sister to the Small Tour horse High Bid V.D.T. (s.Rousseau), and granddam Calypsa V.D.T. is in turn a half-sister to the KWPN-approved stallion Osmium and the Dutch champion mare (NMK) Velvet VDT. This makes Tadic VDT closely related to the Grand Prix horses Hero VDT, competed internationally by Joanne Vaughan, and Bestseller VDT.
