Under Katja Haep, Baltic VDL offspring Romy FZ debuted successfully at 1.55m level last year at the age of ten, qualifying for the 3* Grand Prix of Compiègne. Twix was bred out of Romy FZ’s full sister, Foloma VDL. Granddam Roloma VDL jumped at 1.35m-level, and from her half-sisters successful international 1.50/1.60m-level horses have been bred such as Lauren Hough’s Casadora (s.Indoctro), Idol H&H (s.Action-Breaker) ridden by Andrew Welles, and Saporo (s.Lancelot) ridden by Julien Epaillard. From this direct branch of the Loma damline also originate 1.60m-level performers such as Alfa Jordan, Iron Maiden EBH, Katia and Haya Loma N. On the sire’s side, Twix also inherits strong genes. His sire Night Life VDL consistently proves to be among the top of his year and is currently making a strong impression at 1.40m-level. In breeding as well, this genetically high-quality stallion has made a strong start.
