This promising Unino showcased his great allure, use of the body and movements, earning him the third place in the final of the National Foal Championship, after being crowned champion foal of Drenthe. Time and again, he impresses with his talent and power. His dam, Kagranta, is a half-sister to the Grand Prix dressage horse Evrano T (s.Spielberg) ridden by Raul Piedra Alonso, and this direct damline also produced the ZZ-Licht/4^th level dressage horses Igranta (s.Chippendale) and Julius T (s.Apache). Unino’s sire is the Hanoverian premium stallion Bon Courage, who made a strong impression in the German young horse championships and is now being prepared by Thomas Schulze for higher-level work. Bon Courage has made an impressive start as a sire, and Unino further inherits the performance genes of the Grand Prix stallions Uphill and Scandic from his dam's side.
