Sire Vitalis is emerging as a top-class Grand Prix horse producer, ranking 16^th on the WBFSH sire ranking at 16 years old, thanks to excellent offspring such as Vayron, Valencia AS, First-Step Valentin, Vita di Lusso, and Vamos Amigos. He is paired here with a successful Oldenburg damline. This damline is the also the damline from top mare Weihegold from Isabel Werth and Olympic Total Hope. Wüstenblume’s dam, Wait And See AK, is a half-sister to the international Grand Prix horse Drombusch Old, with whom Felicitas Hendricks secured seven (!) victories this year in Wellington. Granddam Wicomaggia also produced the Mecklenburg and Oldenburg approved stallion Saratoga, a six-year-old son of Secret. The nine-year-old Grand Prix horse Dante Chronos d’Authou, with whom Barbara Clement Klinger successfully debuted last year at the highest national level, also traces back to Wüstenblume’s granddam Wicomaggia.

The four-year-old Wüstenblume is a nice, willing horse, with a golden character. She always wants to work. As a four-year-old she was presented at the mare inspection and immediately became star and provisional keur.
