The four-year-old ster mare Rita Cara IIC combines in her pedigree the well-producing champion stallion Le Formidable with the direct damline of the keur stallion Krack C, who achieved great success at the highest level under Anky van Grunsven. Her dam Gicara III C is a half-sister to both the international Grand Prix horse I Am What I Am C (s.Don Tango B), ridden by Jordi Domingo Coll, and the national Grand Prix horses Funky Stuff C (s.Jazz), ridden by Martha Rabun, and Happiness Returns C (s.Jazz), ridden by Danielle Bonavito. Granddam Platinacara C is a full sister to Krack C and thus also to the international Grand Prix horse Baton Rouge C, ridden by Linda Swande. In addition, Platinacara C is a half-sister to the international Grand Prix horse Something Special, ridden by Petri Bax. This direct damline has also produced the international Grand Prix horse Sinclair C. Rita Cara IIC is in foal to Real Dream.
